How to change the Technics SL-1200 LED Target light !!

*Easy to replace as well !!




Step One :
First remove the platter.






Step Two :
Remove screws and the dust cover.





This is SL-1200`s inside.





Red circle is part of Target light.







Step Three :

Remove this the black connector from main board. ( *Carefully to pull it !! )








Step Four :

Secure the tonearm, and remove the 45 plug from your turntable. 

Always unplug your turntable before removing the platter. 

Flip it over and remove the 20 sum screws from the underside and remove the foot pads. 

The foot pads come off by turning them counter clockwise. 

Once they are removed you will notice there is another screw under each one. 

Remove that as well. Carefully pull the rubber base from the bottom of the turntable.

The Target light assembly is located nearly straight center bottom of the turntable.

Step Five : 

Remove the two screws. Once it is unscrewed light the stylus assembly up and out, then flip it over.

Step Six :


Removed the old target light and install the new LED light one`s in reverse order !!
